We Mind Partners UK have been appointed by Hedios, an independent Fintech company, expert in designing and promoting investment-structured products known as “Gammes H” to search for their new Business Developer – French-speaking – to strengthen and develop its Mayfair office.

HEDIOS is an independent Fintech company founded in 2009 in France

With two offices in Paris and London, the company employs 30 people, experts in designing and promoting investment structured products known as “Gammes H”. These savings products are available directly online for private investor clients through the transactional website www.hedios.com and its mobile application.

The company’s size enables it to operate with agility, which is a core and primarily value for HEDIOS.

HEDIOS consistently drives its employees with comprehensive learning and educational initiatives on its structured products. HEDIOS prioritises professionalism and a strong focus on its clients.

In a context of development and growth, HEDIOS is now looking to appoint a new BUSINESS DEVELOPER.

This is a newly created position which will be office-based Monday to Friday, in London, Mayfair.

You will be responsible for developing the market of private investors in the French community in the UK. Most of your potential clients are already knowledgeable about financial investments and your main mission will be to promote “Gammes H” structured products offerings.

After a learning period and once you are familiar with HEDIOS’ products and design principles, you will be able to grasp the technical aspects of “Gammes H” structured products and present them simply and convincingly to prospects.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing the business by initiating new contacts, networking within the French community, and getting client referrals.
• Ensuring face-to-face meetings, managing follow-ups, and establishing solid and long-lasting relationships with investors.
• Summarising and even popularising complex products to an already knowledgeable audience.
• Answering inquiries and stimulating potential interest. You will be curious, and you will take time to get a good understanding of your client’s profile while being convincing about the HEDIOS products portfolio.
• Collaborating with the Paris teams on client integration.

About you

You are self-confident and a self-starter with excellent attention to detail.

Strong professional drive, and excellent business acumen will be obvious traits of the future Business Developer.

Master’s degree level from a top tier engineering or business school or equivalent with an extensive financial culture and excellent general knowledge.

Minimum of 20 years of professional experience, preferably in business development within the financial sector, high net worth private clients’ sectors or related (Commercial real estate, Luxury retail…).

In addition to this, a keen interest in economics and financial news, especially in savings and investment in the stock markets and ideally in structured products would be a plus.

Commitment, passion, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent command of French.

Ability to summarise complex investment products.

Extensive network in the French community in the UK would be a plus.
