Feedback from Agathe, our golden trainee!

Mind Partners UK has been very fortunated to welcome Agathe for a 6 months internship.

We had an interesting time working together, and here are some words Agathe wanted to share about her experience in our London office before leaving.

Agathe, what were you looking for during this internship?

I wanted to gain some experience in an international environment and develop further my recruitment skills and expertise on the UK market. 

What were you tasks at Mind Partners?

I was involved  in every stages of a recruitment process: pre-screening CVs, telephone interviews, writing interview reports for clients, etc.

I did some Business Development too. In particular I was in charge of an emailing campaign targeting European Private Equity funds: my objective was to help them structuring their portfolio companies in the UK.

I also did some networking and attended events organised by the French Chamber of Great Britain. This was a great way to connect with the French Anglo community.

I’ve also worked on improving Communications and Marketing tools for the benefit of Mind Partners Group.

What did you learn at Mind Partners UK?

My experience at Mind Partners UK gave me the chance to realise how wide the variety of sectors is: Industry, Manufacturing, Luxury, FMCG, Real Estate. I was very surprised to come across so many areas of expertise and to discover all the cultural dynamic and difference involved when an organisation recruits oversea.

I also found it interesting to work on both sides of the Channel. I realised how important the comprehension of the cultural environment is: Mind Partners UK has a strong expertise in decoding and explaining the UK market to French/European companies and I can say now that it is one of the main challenge for a compagny trying to develop abroad.

I finally understood how partnerships can be helpful: Mind Partners UK and the CCFGB work together serving the same ambition to help their network.
